Pile of Shame - Switch Edition

Ich möchte diesen Post nutzen, um ein bisschen aufzuräumen. Ich werde von nun an keine PC Spiele mehr zu meinem Pile zählen, weil neue Spiele einfach zu unkontrolliert dazu kommen. Man bekommt einfach immer wieder Spiele irgendwoher umsonst und ich bin mir bei manchen gar nicht sicher, ob ich die wirklich spielen will. Diesen Monat z.B. habe ich Assassin's Creed Origins und Shadows of Mordor erhalten. Interessante Spiele, aber hätte ich mir die gekauft? Wohl nein. Werde ich sie spielen? Vllt. Das Pile of Shame Konzept funktioniert für mich mit PC Spielen einfach nicht. Genauso HumbleBundle, alle Resi Teile auf einmal bekommen, aber will ich wirklich Resi 6 spielen?
Daher zieh ich hier jetzt einen Schlussstrich und schmeiß die alle runter. Ich spiel einfach das, worauf ich Bock habe und worauf ich kein Bock habe, das versauert einfach in meiner Bibliothek.
Nebeneffekt, wenn ich die Daten jetzt rückwirkend bereinigen, dann habe ich für das letzte Jahr wieder eine positive Bilanz
Ich werde hier aber weiter mitteilen, was ich so duchgezockt habe, auch wenn die PC Spiele nicht in meine Bilanz einfließen.

46. Eastward:
Schönes klassisches Action-Adventure mit tollem, abwechslungsreichen Gameplay, grandiosen Bosskämpfen und interessanten Rätseln. Allerdings muss man schon wissen, dass das Spiel einen extrem hohen Textanteil hat und streckenweise wie eine Visual Novell anmutet. Im Mittelteil war ich trotz charmanter Inszenierung und interessanter Charaktere dann wirklich etwas genervt von dem Spiel, weil es sich für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel mit witzig geschriebenen Banalitäten aufhielt. Trotzdem war das am Ende eine gute Erfahrung und ich bin froh, diese schöne kleine Indiperle in meiner Sammlung zu haben.

Ich hab neulich Breath of the Wild durchgespielt. Zwar weit weg von 100% und den DLC habe ich mehr oder weniger nur angefangen, aber für den Moment bin ich zufrieden. Vor 1-2 Tagen habe ich Demons Crest angefangen und das habe ich heute durchgespielt. Ein wirklich sauschweres Spiel, dass aber auch heute noch Spaß machen kann. Zum True Ending hats aber nicht gereicht. Das Spiel ist in Switch Online enthalten, also ich kann empfehlen da mal reinzuschauen.

Wunderschöne jRPG-Perle aus der 32-Bit Ära, auch im Remaster ein einmaliger Rollenspiel-Genuss mit traumhafter Kulisse und fantasievoller Geschichte. Einzig dass Spieldesign wirkt aufgrund der in beliebiger Reihenfolge abschließbaren Aufgaben und oftmals losen Enden nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. Die Qualität des Remasters ist rein technisch dafür überragend.

Ich habe Spiel Nr. 47 durchgespielt und damit meinen persönlichen Rekord von 2016 eingestellt. Jetzt möchte ich die 50 noch voll machen und vielleicht schaff ich ja sogar die 52 Game Challenge, auch wenn das vorab gar kein Ziel von mir war...

47. Katana Zero:
Katana Zero hat mich überrascht, weil ich eigentlich einen knallharten Arcade-Platformer erwartet habe, der sich insbesondere auf das Gameplay konzentriert. Katana Zero ist im Kern aber ein wirklich interessantes Storytelling-Experiment, mit düsterer Geschichte und spannenden Dialogen. Die Gameplay-Abschnitte sind eher zweckdienlich, auch wenn sie durchaus großen Spaß gemacht haben - nach 30 Spielminuten kennt man eigentlich alle Spielmechaniken. Zu erwähnen ist außerdem der überragende Artstyle, der stilistisch sehr treffsicher auch im Detail immer wie aus einem Guss wirkt. Schöne kleine Indiperle.

Gerade eben Horace durchgespielt. Ist eigentlich ein tolles Spiel, aber es hat ein paar Bugs. So verschwinden manchmal die Extraleben nur weil man ins Menü geht. Aber war nicht so schlimm. Zwischendurch gab es ein paar lästige Kapitel, aber das ist alles jammern auf hohem Niveau. 85% würde ich dem Spiel allemal geben. Die ersten paar Stunden ließen allerdings +90% erwarten.

Control mit beiden DLCs durchgespielt. Was für ein abgefahrenes Spiel. Das Behördensetting ist so schön unverbraucht. Das Gameplay hat auch sehr viel Spaß gemacht, flottes 3rd Person Shooter Gameplay mit ein paar schönen andersartigen Skills garniert. Das Aschenbecher Labyrinth war mein Highlight, was für ein abgefahrener, geiler Trip. Das Musikvideo von Darling war auch der Hammer xD Das Problem an der ganzen Geschichte ist, dass das Konzept für 10 Stunden oder so trägt, danach hat es sich abgenutzt, also ein Spiel, wo für mich der größte Kritikpunkt ist, dass es zu lang war. Das Setting war auf Dauer auch viel zu abwechslungsarm.

Übrigens habe ich nun auch meine Wii U Konsole verkauft, dadurch fallen ein paar eshop Titel weg. Die Virtual Console Geschichten lass ich erstmal drin, die werde ich dann mal bei Nintendo Online spielen.

48. Nier Automata:
Ein großartiges Spiel - unglaublich kreativ und abwechslungsreich. Wahrscheinlich wäre es eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsspiele, wenn mir der Hack n' Slay Teil genauso zugesagt hätte, wie der ganze Rest. So habe ich insbesondere das Twin Stick Shmup Gameplay genossen und immer, wenn möglich, mit 9S gespielt.
Das Spiel genießt seinen legendären Ruf wirklich nicht ohne Grund. Nach 3 Durchgängen und 5 Enden (inklusive True Ending) lege ich es jetzt zufrieden aus der Hand.
