EA SPORTS und die Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) haben heute die Verlängerung ihres bestehenden Lizenzabkommens bis zum 31. Dezember 2022 bekannt gegeben.

Bestehend dürfte das komplette Paket bedeuten. Nur die Logos zu lizenzieren wäre auch etwas unsinnig.

Interessant ist der Absatz über Verwendung bei Managementspielen. Denn diese ist ebenso im Lizenzpaket enthalten. Vielleicht kommt nochmal ein neuer Fifa Manager Ableger...

EA hat ja nicht ohne Grund den Turniermodus aus Fifa14 gestrichen - damit man nochmal schön blechen darf.
Aber die Fifa WM 2014 als eigenständiges Spiel zum Vollpreis?Geht ja gar nicht!
Für ein Add-on als Download hätte ich ja vlt. noch um die 20.- € berappt - aber so.....nääääh!

Ich hoffe ja,daß diese Vorgehensweise von EA ein Eigentor wird.Aber ich befürchte,daß es wieder einmal mehr als genügend Leute gibt,die zuviel Geld haben und sich das Spiel doch zulegen.

Ich bin gerade ueber das IGN review gestolpert und war doch erstaunt wie gegensaetzlich es klingt... Kann aber selbst nicht darueber urteilen, habe es nicht gespielt. Aber interessant ist es trotzdem, wie es ueber den hohen Klee gelobt wird.

Und morgen kommen sie wieder und geloben Besserung und behaupten, aus den Fehlern der Vergangenheit lernen zu wollen.

Aber wie bei Regierungen gilt: Jeder bekommt den Publisher, den er verdient.

Uhh, hoffentlich ist die fwm genau so kurz wie der Schatten, den dieser Ableger hinterlässt. im einem tummeln sich zu viele bierbäuchige Alkoholiker, die sich permanent bei öffentlichen Events Currywürste in den Magen reinbrettern und im anderen zu wenig Kreativität.

IGN wrote a corporate apologists editorial a few days ago pretty much saying that all this "hate" for EA is really unfounded. The article completely overlooks every consumer complaint leveled against the company, and there are 10 simple reasons why people hate EA and it doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

Let's get one thing clear, though, no one should be surprised that a site like IGN, who is corporate-first and consumer-last, would do a pro-EA article where they ask EA's Peter Moore why people hate EA, and come up with a bunch of excuses why the "hate" shouldn't exist. I mean, do you really think any figurehead at EA is going to come clean about why they receive the hate? Of course not.

Then again, IGN is the same company where former IGN editor Kristine Steimer reviewed Dragon Age 2, and then shortly thereafter went to work at BioWare. Yeah, there's nothing suspicious about that, right? IGN is also the same place where another employee actually appeared in a game, Jessica Chobot, and then they went and gave that same game a glowing review, which they include in their pro-EA article. Heck, this is the exact same company that coined the phrase "entitled gamers" after defending EA over the Mass Effect 3 ending. Could IGN be anymore pro-EA?
