Cypress Hill hat geschrieben:The developers DID confirm you can finish this particular mission in different ways, right? So i don't nessecarily have to kill those cops, use that switch, and go that chopper route, right?
yeah, the level itself with that specific layout and setup was specifically for demo purposes. while much of it remains the same a large part of it will change for the final game.

Same goes for when 47 takes the bust, but I believe Nick has said a while ago that they’ve fixed this/working on it.
--> Not sure why a mini-disguise appears on screen when 47 is wearing the disguise. I think that by looking at 47 you can tell that he’s dressed as a police officer.
as i think nick already mentioned, that stuff and animations in general has been/will be improved and fixed.
and the disguise interface icon serves a gameplay purpose, but im not sure im allowed to say what exactly.
Cypress Hill hat geschrieben:Is this PC footage or console footage?
its the ps3 version as quinn correctly mentions.
Quinn hat geschrieben:Did anyone else notice that when 47 walks out into the crowd at the end, there are 5 identical guys walking next to each other with the same walk animation, in sync with each other? It certainly made me chuckle!
yeah, its a very early version of the crowd and it has been improved massively since. many more character, much more detail and much more variation.
Cydonia hat geschrieben:Did anyone else think that the dialouge was terrible, the repeat the same words over and over;
'I want this place searched...I want this place searched'
'No sign of perpetrators...No sign of perpetrators'
i think "terrible" is rather harsh. its lacking still, but this is also way pre-alpha footage.
Best for Hire hat geschrieben:Also, will there be any way to knock someone out? I mainly saw 47 snapping necks Metal Gear style.
definitely. there will be plenty of non-hostile ways to deal with enemies. also the guy playing in the video chose to kill his hostage.
music is math hat geschrieben:[..] but it's so tightly scripted, I couldn't help but wonder how good the AI will be at adapting if you were to deviate at all from that particular path. What if you killed the rookie cop before he managed to fix the fuse box? Would the guy giving him orders just stand around dumbly and wonder what happened? Would he walk over there and try to figure out where he went? [..] I just get the feeling that it wouldn't take much to completely break the AI here.
the ai system is luckily much more clever than that and they do look out for and care for their friends if they go missing. some siturations will obviously not play if you disrupt it in a particular way, but the system overall is rather robust and great fun to play around with. final tuning hasnt even been done yet.
