Executing on a game's vision takes many traits, but above all stand teamwork, leadership and a dedication to excellence. Coordinating the efforts of close to a hundred people is a big responsibility. Creating games is fun at its core, but full of challenges different from creating productivity software. This is a hits-driven business so everyone must aim high and the leadership to reach those heights is driven by the PM.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a new Producer in the Microsoft Studios Core Publishing organization, you will work directly with a Lead Producer to assist with working on various titles.
A Producer in Microsoft Studios Core Publishing has a wide range of responsibilities:
Build a strong working relationship with the game development team and help them with any obstacles to ensure that the game is "fun" and on time. When working with our premier development partners, it is also critical to have a thorough understanding and love for the genre of games in the genre they are working on. The goal is to deliver the best games ever produced in this genre.
