Die News dazu habe ich heute auch gelesen. Wirklich heftig, was da abgeht:

UPDATE: S.T.A.L.K.E.R assets used “illegaly” to promote Areal Kickstarter – statement

“Many people came to the studio to work for a few months just for the sake of adding “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. development” to their portfolio. Frequently they claimed afterwards to be the ‘core’ developers behind the game (you wouldn’t know anyway, right?).

“Yet, my biggest concern is that West Games are using the footage and assets of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and representing them as their own, which is not only illegal, but simply just not right. I guess it’s all made for the sake of getting extra publicity (which unfortunately works), but guys on Kickstarter should probably pay attention.”

As you can see below, we found that West Games is using old S.T.A.L.K.E.R concept art and claiming it to be art for its new game Areal.

Ich rate vorerst dringend dazu, das Projekt nicht zu backen!

Die Gefahr, dass es sich hier doch um einen Betrugsversuch handeln könnte, ist leider sehr groß, zumal die Devs 0 eigenes Gameplay-Material präsentieren.

Es gibt auch einen Steam Greenlight Linkdafür, mit mehr Videos und Beschreibungen.

Meine persönliche Empfehlung.
Kommt heute auf Steam, nach einem erfolgreichen Kickstarter und erfolgreichem Green Light.

Das Browserspiel von Failbetter "Echo Bazaar" habe ich gut 2 Jahre lang gespielt.

Das viktorianische London versinkt im Boden und die Überlebenden machen einfach unter der Erde weiter. Zwischen Dämonen, Menschen aus Lehm, Untoten mit Manieren, Wein aus Pilzen und halluzinogenem Honig. Faszinierende Welt und Geschichten, die mich zwei Jahre lang fesseln konnten.
Sunless Sea setzt das Rollenspiel nun fort. Als 2D Top Down Segel-Adventure. Mit Kannibalismus.

Der inoffizielle Power Rangers Manager Chroma Squad bekommt nun Probleme mit den Power Rangers Eigentümern:

Mal schauen, worauf dieser Rechtsstreit hinausläuft. Sehr wahrscheinlich wird die Produktion dadurch aber deutlich verzögert.

Dachte der Thread wäre für interessante Projekte, die nicht viel Aufmerksamkeit bekommen aber die man vielleicht gerne pledgen würde, aber irgendwie driftet es davon inzwischen "leicht" ab.

Ich folge Kyle Landry schon eine Weile. Aus meiner Sicht ein Ausnahmetalent am Klavier, besonders wenn er Final Fantasy und Kingdom Hearts Stücke nachspielt. Und jetzt haben die den angeheuert für Musik.
