Beim stöbern fand ich folgende News. Und als kleiner Fan von Kameo konnte ich nicht widerstehen
Vielleicht wird's ein Video das nur auf XBLive vertrieben wird ? Vielleicht eine DVD ? Who knows...

Kameo: Elements of Power Movie Announced

REDMOND, Washington-- Microsoft and Maxmedia today announced that the Santa Monica-based production company will develop an animated feature adaptation of the upcoming Xbox 360(tm) video game, Kameo(tm): Elements of Power(tm). Sunmin Park will adapt the video game for the screen version, as well as direct.

Park recently produced, co-wrote, and directed the English version of Sky Blue, a multilayered, composite, digital animation feature in high definition. The film premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival and went on to screen at film festivals in Venice, London, Tokyo, and other cities around the world. Park's producing credits also include The Others, starring Nicole Kidman and directed by Alejandro Amenábar, and Chen Kaige's The Emperor and the Assassin, starring Gong Li.

Kameo: Elements of Power, the broad-appeal, fantasy action-adventure game developed by Rare(r), will be released this holiday season by Microsoft Game Studios exclusively for the revolutionary next-generation Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system. As a young Elf, Kameo must master her new ability to transform into mystical warriors and harness their powers to save her people from Thorn, the evil Troll king. Production for the animated adaptation will begin in 2006.

Incredible Game and Cinematic Experience
"Rare has created an incredible game experience in Kameo: Elements of Power with a rich and compelling storyline, unique warriors, and engaging gameplay. We are excited to see the world of Kameo come to life on the silver screen through the work of Sunmin Park and Maxmedia," said Peter Moore, corporate vice president of Worldwide Marketing and Publishing at Xbox(r).

"Rare and Microsoft have developed a stunning broad-appeal game, and I am thrilled to take the origins of Kameo: Elements of Power from Xbox 360 to a new level of cinematic experience," Park said. The animated feature is a Maxmedia production and will be produced by Jungmin Ethan Park and Sunmin Park.

Des kann ich mir einfach nicht vorstellen!!

Ich kann mir's ebenfalls nicht vorstellen, das da eine Hollywood-Produktion auf uns zukommt. Aber warum denn gleich groß rumprotzen ? Ich nehme mal an, das da ein CGI-Studio eine Computeranimation präsentieren könnte. Eine ganze Geschichte in CGI Form ist gut vorstellbar und sicherlich für ein DVD-Release oder XBox-Live gut geeignet !

Vorstellbar ist das schon ... wer hätte vor einigen Jahren noch gedacht,
dass BARBIE plötzlich mehrere (!) Filme bekommt ? Sind alles CGI-Filme und sind ebenfalls alle auf DVD erschienen. Warum sollte Kameo nicht einen ähnlichen Weg einschlagen ?? So wie ich die Kritiken gelesen habe, hätte BloodRayne ebenfalls sowas verdient. Stattdessen hat Dr. Boll sie angefasst und sofort verdorben Und dabei hat sie sich so schön wacker gegen Nazis und Dämonen gewehrt

Wollen wir mal hoffen, das da nix gecancelt wurde und usn eine nette Import-DVD entgegen kommt

Wendern wird der Kameo-Film komplett animiert oder garnicht.

Ich würde es richtig lächerlich finden, wenn der Film teilweise mit richtigen Schauspielern bestückt wäre. Des würde so richtig lächerlich sein.

Genau. Bei Barbie dachte auch keiner dass die so viele scheissfilme bekommt.

Einfach abwarten was die Zukunft bringt.

Auf so was warte ich nicht so wie auf ein richtig geiles Spiel wie The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess.

So was behalt ich im Auge und im Hintergrund und warte ab ob sich daraus was entwickelt.
